I am Marie-Anne Hisem R.M.T., CLT
Since I was 11 years old I knew I wanted to become a registered massage therapist. I’ve been a sole proprietor of my therapy clinic since 2003.
I have varied experience in chronic back pain and specialize in headaches/migraines. Posture is a very important aspect for my assessment and I may prescribe some remedial exercises to improve your pain or discomfort.
After working with many athletes and fitness minded clients, I have expanded my field of knowledge by obtaining my certificate as a Personal Trainer Specialist. With this added expertise a new dimension of rehabilitation and injury prevention is available to all my clients.

Massage Therapy can help to relieve chronic conditions associated with traumatic injury, overuse and stress and can include lower back pain, arthritis, bursitis, fatigue and more. It has been shown to improve blood and lymphatic circulation, and the function of the muscular, skeletal and nervous systems which in-turn helps the rate at which the body recovers from injury and illness.
